The Texas Rainbow News is published by the Grand Assembly of Texas on a quarterly basis in January, April, July, and October.

Each assembly submits an article for a specified month, giving each assembly an opportunity to display activities and to promote their unique ideas and activities.  The expected months for each assembly are noted below:

Subscriptions are $12 per yer.

Guidelines for submitting articles

The following material is prepared to help you with your annual Article and Ad for the Texas Rainbow News.  Your assembly article and information for your ad and photo(s) must be sent via e-mail to stephaniecastillo@hotmail.com.  Articles submitted through the postal service will not be accepted.

Deadlines: (always check the most recent Texas Rainbow News for possible changes)

To be included in the:

Jan, Feb, Mar issue:  Information must be received by November 10^th

Apr, May, Jun issue:  Information must be received by February 10^th

Jul, Aug, Sept issue:  Information must be received by May 10^th

Oct, Nov, Dec issue:  Information must be received by August 10^th

The standard article is limited to 200 words.  The picture to appear in your ad may be of an individual or of a group.  

Guidelines for submitting articles and pictures:

1. Articles must be attached as a Microsoft Word document (.doc). 
2. Document format:  10pt Times New Roman font, left-hand alignment.  Headlines: 14pt, CAPS, bold.
3. Pictures must be in JPEG format, grayscale.
4. Picture resolution:  for photos over 4 1/2" please use 72dpi.  For smaller pictures use 300dpi.
5. In the email subject please type: TRN article for (name of assembly)

Fee Structure

• $45   Standard article and ad with one picture
  
  • $25  Each 200 words over initial standard article
  • $15  Each additional picture
• $25  Additional articles (not an assembly article)
• $100  Fraternal advertisement

Additional stories and pictures may be sent anytime during the year.  You are defnitely encouraged to send these articles.  Please use the fee structure above for additional stories.

• Meeting Dates and Times
• Name of Worthy Advisor
• Name of Grand Appointment(s)
• Name of Mother Advisor
