2025-2026 State Service Project - Dreamhouse Care Kits

This year the Grand Assembly of Texas will participate in a statewide service project, as part of the 2025-2026 "You Can Be Anything" year. This service project, entitled "Dreamhouse Care Kits" will take place at various events throughout the year.

Here's how it works:
  • During certain events throughout the 2025-2026 "You Can Be Anything" year, the girls of the Grand Assembly of Texas will make kits full of hygiene products, toys, or necessities to send to various local charities or organizations that may need them in their respective areas.
  • As you complete these kits, make sure to log how many hours you spent making them at each event, which can be counted as service hours. The goal is to reach at least 25 service hours.
    • You are able (and encouraged) to count the care-kit-making sessions towards the 15 hours in the Individual Membership Program.
  • It is encouraged for you and your assemblies to create these kits and provide them to the Grand Assembly of Texas for us to donate, or on your own as well.
  • At the "You Can Be Anything" Grand Assembly session in 2026, the girl and assembly with the most service hours completed will be recognized with a special prize!

The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls is an organization that teaches girls how to serve their communities and we, as the Grand Assembly of Texas, are thrilled to implement the "Dreamhouse Care Kits" service and outreach project in the 2025-2026 year. We are so excited to partner with local charities and organizations that may need these resources and materials.

I am so grateful for the support you have shown towards this project, and I cannot wait to see how successful I know we will be. - Keera
