For Girls

This Is Your Place.

You're looking for something real. Not just another club or another thing to put on a résumé. You want people who actually get you, experiences that actually matter, and memories you'll actually keep.

That's Rainbow Girls.

Texas IORG is a statewide sisterhood of girls ages 11–20 who show up for each other, show up for their communities, and make the most of every year between now and graduation. It's been around for over 100 years — because it works.

Your People Are Here

There's something that happens when you find your assembly. You walk in not knowing anyone and walk out with a group text that never stops. These are the girls who will show up at your games, celebrate your wins, and be in your corner on the hard days.

Every local assembly is its own little community — your girls, your town, your traditions. But you're also part of something much bigger: a sisterhood that stretches across all of Texas and around the world.

Some of your best friendships haven't happened yet. They're waiting in an assembly near you.

Do Something That Actually Matters

Service isn't just something Rainbow Girls does — it's something you feel. Whether it's a local project your assembly organizes, or contributing to the Texas IORG statewide service project, you'll see what it looks like when a group of girls decides to make something better.

It sounds simple. It feels like a lot more than that.

Go Places. See Things.

Being a Rainbow Girl means you don't stay in one place for long — in the best way.

  • Local events keep your calendar full and your circle growing

  • Grand Assembly is a statewide event where Rainbow Girls from across Texas come together — think competitions, ceremonies, elections, and a whole lot of memories

  • National and international gatherings mean you could find yourself making friends from across the country and beyond

Some Rainbow Girls have traveled further and made more lifelong connections through this organization than almost anywhere else in their lives.

You Could Run This Thing

Seriously. Every assembly is run entirely by the girls in it — that means you. Members hold real elected officer positions, lead real meetings, and make real decisions. There's no adult doing it for you.

If you've ever wanted to know what it feels like to lead — this is where you find out.

And when it comes time for college applications? The leadership experience, the service hours, the public speaking, the event planning — it all goes with you. Rainbow Girls alumni have been known to walk into interviews and have more to say than most people twice their age.
