Our Grand Worthy Advisor, Katie, was born in Texas on November 10th and currently resides with her family north of the greater DFW Area. She is a high school graduate and is currently attending a North Texas university, where she is studying Elementary Education.

Katie joined Pledge in 2017 and was initiated into Rainbow in 2018. She attended her first Grand Assembly in June of 2018, where she quickly found friends and a love for Rainbow. She later became Worthy Advisor of her home assembly for the first time in 2021. She was honored with her first Grand Appointment as the Grand Representative to Arizona and New Mexico and since that time has served the Grand Assembly of Texas as Grand Drill Leader, Grand Faith, and Grand Worthy Associate Advisor. Katie is overjoyed to be able to serve Texas Rainbow as their Grand Worthy Advisor for the 2026-2027 year.

Alongside Rainbow, Katie has found love in dance, marching band, and reading. She was a dancer for many years and practiced jazz, tap dance, ballet, hip hop, and aerial dance. She played the French horn and won first place at the UIL state marching band contest twice and had the pleasure of participating in the Rose Parade in 2022. Additionally, she and her marching band ranked 3rd in Grand Nationals in 2023. Katie is extremely proud of these accomplishments.

She is currently studying Early Childhood Education through 6th Grade, and she hopes to one day be an elementary school librarian. Katie is an avid reader. She believes that anyone should have the ability to find joy in reading and becoming more educated, and she hopes she can help future generations find said joy.

Katie is so excited to travel around Texas this upcoming year, and she is eagerly looking forward to interacting with and meeting so many new people. She is so grateful for everyone's support and love, and she is so honored to get to serve as the Grand Worthy Advisor for Texas. She’s ready for a fantastic year with everyone as we discover that “We’re on the Right Track”!
